With practice, Qigong will improve breathing, relaxation and posture. Qigong is the parent of Tai Chi and easier to learn. The natural movements are presented in a way to re-train the body in correct body mechanics along with breathing techniques to soothe the central nervous system.  The easy exercises can be applied to daily life – at work, home and any exercise program.

     Retune your body with some easy methods to improve breathing, posture and relaxation. Body in Balance uses breathing techniques with gentle movements to help release stress and allow the body to function as it was designed to do. The exercises are based on Qigong (Chi Gung) to re-train the body in correct body mechanics along with breathing techniques to soothe the central nervous system.

     Body in Balance focuses on fundamental strategies to prevent bio-stressors throughout the day. Simple exercises will be practiced to synchronize breathing with relaxed body movements. This helps re-train the body to perform everyday tasks, such as working around the house and yard, with proper body mechanics. This functional training helps improve posture, balance, and prevent falls. The exercises gently strengthen the body, improve circulation and help calm the central nervous system, and most can be practiced standing, seated or lying down. Practice of these methods help improve breathing and overall health and vitality.  The exercises are suitable and adaptable for those with existing injuries or conditions.
